Getting to Boshack

Bush BBQ at BoshackBoshack is a beautiful 120 kilometre drive from Perth. If staying for a night you have time to drop into the Swan Valley to taste wines and chocolate. Meander through our picturesque Avon Valley hills, stopping at an orchard, lavender farm and the town of Toodyay.

You can get to Boshack two ways:

  • Self Drive - meet us at Bolgart at 9.15am ,and have time for a very nice cuppaccino at the Thrifty Store before departing at 10.05am for the Farm Animal Tour.
  • Coach - join us in Perth with groups of 4 or more at 8:00am, enjoy your Tour, returning to Perth CBD at 5:30pm

Roads are sealed, and there are several caravan parks you can stay at.

Groups

Canoeing on Lake SereneWe arrange all sorts of special events for groups:

  • Schools. Boshack hosts School Field Trips and School Camps for Australian and International schools. We can host groups of up to 30 at the Lake Camp, and larger groups of up to 100 staying within 10 minutes of Boshack.
  • Staff Retreats. Boshack is a wonderful venue for corporate retreats, comradeship and team building events. An evening campfire by Lake Serene would even be serene, if not for the sing alongs that usually take place.

Tame Kangaroo at BoshackWe have had groups participate in water divining, land reclamation, boomerang throwing, egg throwing, studying bird species (52 of them), rounding up sheep, separating sheep separating, sheep haircutting. Even firelighting (in season). We are very happy to discuss your group’s objectives and arrange something special for you.
